No. Vehicles with UNCP parking permits are not allowed to park in visitor-designated spaces. Parking in these spots will result in a ticket and potential further penalties for repeat offenses.

If you park in a reserved spot without the proper permit, your vehicle will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Visitors must call the UNCP Police & Public Safety Department (910.521.6235) and provide their license plate number when parking on campus to avoid penalties.

If you receive a warning citation, it means your vehicle was parked in a visitor or reserved spot without the appropriate permit. Please follow the parking guidelines to avoid tickets, fines and towing after the grace period ends.

Parking decals can be by employees and students. There will be a Police & Public Safety Department table set up in the Student Center during move-in and during Weeks of Welcome for residential students to purchase decals in person
